Description

Create VR content for the web using A-Frame.

Reflection Statement

Previously, I was unfamiliar with WebXR and VR. This was my first time experimenting with VR and working with A-Frame. I really enjoyed it. A-Frame did not have access to a lot of resources — the blog hasn't been updated since 2020. It was easy to set up and use. I still want to do more research to find libraries for creating more projects.

Software: Flutter

Description

Use a new, emerging, or trending software product in web site design and development.

Reflection Statement

I had no previous experience coding apps. I relied on the Flutter docs and a YouTube install tutorial. Coding a web app is different from building a website — there is a lot more code, even for a simple app. I was able to include interactive elements. The only issue was exporting the app to show on my website. Flutter will be a software I keep learning.

Software: Bootstrap Studio

Description

Use a new, emerging, or trending software product in web site design and development.

Reflection Statement

I had no previous experience using software for prototyping. Bootstrap Studio was easy to use with its drag-and-drop interface. The only issue was exporting the website. Bootstrap Studio is not free, but is accessible via the GitHub Student Developer Pack. I will definitely keep using it — it also allows building ecommerce stores with one-time pricing.
